Sosa sets are built to last. A few habits keep them looking the way they did the day they shipped.
Daily Routine
Rinse your set under warm (not hot) tap water after wearing. Melbourne tap water is hard, so a quick wipe with a microfibre cloth stops mineral spotting.
Brush once a day with a soft-bristle toothbrush and a dab of non-whitening toothpaste or a jewellery-safe cleaner. Skip anything abrasive.
Pat dry with a lint-free cloth before putting the set away. Moisture left on the metal is what dulls the shine over months.
Storage
Use the Sosa case every time. A zipped jewellery pouch works too. Loose in a drawer is how sets get scratched.
Keep the case somewhere cool and dry. Bathroom shelves are the worst spot, humidity in a Melbourne summer will do damage over time.
Things That Wreck Them
Eating with them in. Food traps between the stones and the grill, sugar and acid eat at the finish.
Sleeping with them in. Pressure on the teeth shifts the fit.
Bleach, peroxide, ultrasonic cleaners with harsh chemistry, chlorine pool water. All of it strips plating and can dull moissanite over time.
Tossing them in with other jewellery. Metal on metal equals scratches.
Deep Clean (Every Few Weeks)
Soak for 8 to 10 minutes in a cup of warm water with a drop of mild dish soap.
Lift out, brush gently along the stone settings and the inside of the mould.
Rinse clean, dry with a microfibre cloth, and back in the case.
